We always come to Fah when we visit playa. It's one of our favorite spots to hang out. The live music at night is always good. Drinks and food are reasonable. No one has to beg you to come in....its just that good!
Ximena is fantastic! I really liked her. Food was great, good specials and the Cadillac Margarita was excellent! Highly recommend. Ate the nachos and guac but mostly had drinks.
Honestly, we ducked into Fah to dodge the rain. Someone sitting at the front was inhaling a plate of tacos that looked/smelled amazing. Sebastian, our server seated us to check out the menu. Not a fancy place, but inviting just the same and dry. We ordered the Beef tacos and crispy fried Shrimp tacos, served on fresh soft tortillas with lightly spiced Guacamole, Pico di Gallo, lettuce, pickled onion, and sauce. Both were amazing! Great lunch, and great service by Sebastian. One of those places you find by accident and return to often. This is where we had the best tacos in Playa Del Carmen. A must try.

The location, the folks, the staff, and the music.... Everything about our visit to Fah was super fun and totally chill. Even the prices, even on 5th Ave, we're reasonable.
We visited this bar/restaurant three times during our stay - it had really good food for affordable price and the cocktails were also tasty. There was live music every night, which made a nice ambient. The waiters were all great.
Every server and bartender are 5 stars Food was tasty and fast Drinks are Cheap for the 5 th street Clean bathroom And at night they have live band playing old rock and roll Been here 3 Times and it never disappoint Daniel is the Best
The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, with fantastic live music . The cocktails were top-notch—especially the mojitos—and the bartenders were friendly, skilled, and super welcoming. Daniel is the best. Great service, great energy, and a beautiful open-air setting right in the heart of town. Good food and good vibes. The chicken nachos and tuna tostada are my favorite.
